Tobias Rehberger - February 15, 2007
For his art-car series, a project that he began in 1999, Rehberger sent simple sketches, composed essentially from memory, of a Porsche 911 and a McLaren F1, the rare British automobile, to a manufacturer in Thailand. There were no measurements or schematics included. The only parameters were that the cars had to be drivable and built to human scale.

saw him speak in copenhagen when i first got here. hes a cool guy, have you seen the piece he did for palais de tokoyo of the glow in the dark structure from tron? i dont know. some of his work is pretty sweet but some of it is sort of needlessly aesthetic and designed.
